    Terms and conditions

Uvak - Upplands Väsby Arabiska Akademin

    Edition 2026-10-25.1

School privacy contact: Contact your school administration.

    1. About the service

Skolnav supports school administration, learning-related communication and school activities. Your school controls enrolment, teaching, school decisions and the services it enables. These account terms do not replace the school's enrolment agreement, statutory duties or your legal rights.

    2. Accounts and activation

Use only an account authorised for you by the school. Before completing activation or using an account where agreement is required, read these terms and the privacy notice and make the two separate acknowledgments. Invitations may reserve an identity before activation; this is not your acceptance. The school determines appropriate guardian arrangements for children. Never share an invitation, recovery link or password, impersonate another person, or use another school's membership.

    3. Your profile and responsibilities

Keep your display name and contact details accurate enough for school communication. A profile edit does not change official school records, your sign-in email or your privileges. Use a photo you are entitled to use, and do not upload someone else's personal information without authority. You remain responsible for material you submit; the school receives permission to use it only as necessary to provide the requested school service, subject to applicable law and permissions.

    4. Messages and acceptable use

Communicate respectfully. Do not harass, threaten, discriminate, publish private information, send unlawful content or malicious files, disrupt the service, or attempt access outside your role. School announcements are not public social media. Private messages are not an emergency service and may not be read immediately. Use your school's established urgent contact route when needed.

    5. School decisions and corrections

The school determines who may publish, moderate, contact others or access records. Report errors rather than altering another person's information. An acknowledgment records receipt of a notice; it is not consent to an activity, a payment authorisation or photo permission. Attendance corrections and other official changes must retain their proper history.

    6. Availability, restrictions and leaving

Maintenance, provider failures or security events can interrupt service. The school may restrict access when a membership ends or proportionately when necessary to investigate misuse, protect people or comply with law. Contact the school to contest an incorrect restriction or obtain records you are entitled to receive. Closing access does not automatically erase records that must still be retained. These terms do not exclude mandatory rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

    7. Changes and disagreements

Material changes should be communicated and may require renewed agreement. Do not accept on behalf of another adult. A child's acknowledgment of these rules does not replace any guardian approval required by law or the school. Contact the school first about service or school disputes. Applicable Swedish and EU law and mandatory consumer or data-protection rights take precedence over these terms.
